So putting a bomb in your underwear is a good idea...why?
So apparently there was a failed terrorist attack who sewn his explosive device into his underwear. Hm...and now people are flipping out about electronics use on airplanes. There's rumor this and rumor that, of course, but I will be checking TSA websites before I take any more flights from now on.
Although, I do believe it is getting incredibly ridiculous. Unless there is a way to finagle those metal detectors into also sniffing out all types of explosive materials, there is nothing Homeland Security and TSA can do to better keep us safe in the air. So, in essence, they are creating an illusion of safety by having a tighter grip on what is allowed on airplanes.
Kenny and I have jokingly agreed that when we finally move away from this country to Europe we will travel by boat. It will be a nice "cruise".
I do hope everyone had a nice Christmas. Kenny and I got to eat, which is a gift in and of itself sometimes. Unfortunately, Nature's gift to me was a chest cold, so I'm trying to recover from that.
